The Chitande Peacock is a blue cichlid with a yellow-orange dorsal fin and a yellow edge on the anal fin. It is appreciated for its elegance.
Description
Males are blue with a yellow-orange dorsal fin and a blue anal fin edged in yellow. Females are gray. It is a maternal mouthbrooder. It lives in clear, rocky waters. Males are territorial but peaceful towards other species. The blue color is more intense in dominant males. It grows up to 13 cm.

Identical parameters: 24-28°C, pH 7.5-8.5, GH 10-20, KH 8-12. Minimum 200L tank. Carnivorous diet. Compatible with other peacocks and haps. Keep a harem. Weekly water changes. Breeding is easy. Fry grow quickly with appropriate feeding.
