Description

Ceratophyllum submersum resembles C. demersum but has finer, softer leaves. Whorls are less dense. It is often more delicate. It grows quickly and can form dense masses. It prefers calm, nutrient-rich waters. In the aquarium, it helps control algae by absorbing excess nutrients. No CO2 needed. Optimal growth with moderate light.
