Description

It reproduces by laying eggs on hard substrates. Males become more colorful during breeding. It is a very common species in the hobby.

A minimum tank size of 100 liters is sufficient. Temperature 24-27°C, pH 8.1-8.4. Salinity 1.020-1.025. Omnivorous diet: flakes, pellets, brine shrimp. Can be kept in groups of 3-5. Beware of intraspecific aggression. Compatible with most reef fish. Good filtration is recommended. Parameters must be stable.
