Description
Danio albolineatus, the pearl danio, is a cyprinid from Southeast Asia. It reaches 5-6 cm. Its body is silvery with a metallic blue-green lateral band and golden highlights. The fins are often tinted yellow or red. It is a schooling fish that lives in groups in the wild. It is very active and enjoys moderate currents. In the aquarium, it is easy to keep and breeds readily.

Care notes
Soft to moderately hard water (pH 6.5-7.5, GH 5-15, KH 3-8) at 22-26°C. A minimum 60-liter tank with good flow and plants. Perform 20% weekly water changes. Feed with flakes, micro pellets, and brine shrimp. Keep a group of at least 6. It is a peaceful fish that coexists with other small fish.
