Description

Lemna trisulca has elongated fronds 0.5-1 cm, often submerged, with three distinct lobes. It forms chains by budding. It can float on the surface or stay underwater depending on light. Growth is moderate. It is often confused with other duckweeds. It provides shelter for microorganisms.
