Description

Neocaridina zhangjiajiensis is a 2-3 cm shrimp, whose Blue Dream variety has a uniform deep blue color. It is peaceful and lives in groups. It feeds on algae, detritus, and shrimp food. Its breeding is easy in freshwater, similar to Neocaridina davidi. It is an excellent option for planted tanks.

This shrimp is a selected mutation of Neocaridina zhangjiajiensis, native to streams and ponds in China. The water is soft to moderately hard, with dense vegetation. It lives in groups among plants.
