The Red Nerite is a colorful freshwater snail, very effective for algae control in aquariums.
Description
Neritina reclivata has a rounded shell of 1-2 cm, often bright red to orange with dark bands. The body is light. It is active and moves slowly. It feeds on algae and biofilm. Like other nerites, it does not reproduce in freshwater. It is very hardy and easy to keep. It can be kept with peaceful fish and shrimp. Its bright color makes it a decorative element.

Diet: algae, wafers, vegetables. Compatible with most fish. Avoid snail predators. No reproduction in freshwater. Can be kept alone or in groups.
