The White Ramshorn Snail is an albino variety of the Ramshorn snail, characterized by its white or translucent shell. It is equally easy to keep and useful for algae control.
Description
The White Ramshorn Snail has a flat spiral shell, white to cream in color, sometimes slightly translucent. Its adult size is about 2 cm. Like other Ramshorns, it is hermaphroditic and can reproduce alone. It moves slowly and feeds mainly on algae and detritus. It is very hardy and adapts to a wide variety of conditions. Its light color makes it easy to spot on dark plants.

Same conditions as the Red Ramshorn: temperature 20-28°C, pH 6.5-8.0, GH 5-15, KH 3-10. Minimum tank 10 liters. Diet: algae, blanched vegetables, pellets. Peaceful, compatible with most species. Avoid predators. Rapid reproduction if food is abundant. No specific substrate required.
