Description
Seriatopora dendritica is characterized by thin, highly branched stems forming a dendritic (tree-like) structure. Polyps are aligned along the branches, giving a ribbed appearance. Color is often brown, beige or green. It grows in spreading colonies. It is more tolerant of moderate flow than S. stellata. Growth is slow to moderate. It requires oligotrophic water.

Temperature 24-27°C, pH 8.1-8.4, salinity 1.023-1.025. Moderate lighting (PAR 150-200). Moderate flow, avoid dead spots. Nitrates <5 ppm, phosphates <0.03 ppm. Calcium 400-450 ppm, magnesium 1300-1400 ppm. Sensitive to nutrient excess. Compatible with peaceful reef fish. Fragmentation possible but delicate. Adult size 20-30 cm.
