Description

Favites flexuosa forms massive hemispherical colonies. Corallites are polygonal with thick walls. Polyps are small and retractile. Color varies from brown to green, sometimes with lighter centers. It is a robust LPS coral. It feeds on zooplankton at night. Requires moderate lighting and flow. Can reach large size.
