Description

L200 reaches 15 cm. Its body is elongated and its base color is olive green to brown-green, dotted with small white or yellow spots. Its fins are edged in white. It has red or orange eyes. It is a nocturnal and peaceful species, but territorial with its own kind. It hides in rocky crevices. Its green coloration is unique among Loricariidae. It is sometimes called 'Green Phantom'.

Care notes

Temperature 24-28°C, pH 6.0-7.5, GH 2-12, KH 1-8. A minimum 150-liter aquarium is recommended. Diet should include herbivore tablets, blanched vegetables and frozen foods. Moderate to strong water flow is appreciated. Hiding places (rocks, caves) are essential. Compatible with peaceful medium-sized fish. Avoid aggressive species. Oxygenated and clean water is necessary.
