Small catfish with a black and white pattern reminiscent of a panda. Highly appreciated for its beauty and peaceful behavior.

Description
Panda corydoras grows 4-5 cm. Its body is cream white with black spots: one around the eyes (mask), one on the dorsal fin, and one at the tail base. The body is stocky and armored. It is a gregarious bottom fish, very active. It is more sensitive than the bronze corydoras. It prefers cooler, well-oxygenated water.
Habitat
Region :
This corydoras inhabits clear, well-oxygenated streams in the Andean foothills. The bottom is sandy, the water cool and flowing. Vegetation is moderate.

Care notes
A minimum 50-liter aquarium for a group of 5-6 individuals. Temperature 22-26°C (avoid high temperatures), pH 6.0-7.5, low to medium hardness. A fine sand substrate is mandatory. A setup with roots and plants, along with good current, is recommended. Omnivorous, accepts bottom tablets and small prey. Compatible with small peaceful fish. Avoid aggressive species or overly warm temperatures.
