Description

Klyxum sp. is an encrusting soft coral that forms dense, fleshy colonies. Its characteristic green color comes from symbiotic zooxanthellae. It can reach 20 cm in an aquarium. It is very hardy and tolerates variable water conditions. It reproduces easily by fragmentation. It can be aggressive towards neighboring corals by releasing toxins.
